Did You Know?

Today it takes 10 or more years to become an orthodontist. An orthodontist completes college requirements, followed by three to five years of dental school. Then comes a minimum of two years of post-doctorate study at a university-based orthodontic program accredited by the American Dental Association. There are only 67 accredited orthodontic programs in the U.S. and Canada.

SmartClip™ Self-Ligating Braces

Every day millions of people around the world rely on 3M products such as Scotch® Tape, Post-it® Notes and brands like Nexcare™, Scotch-Brite®, Scotchgard™ and Filtrete™ for exceptional quality and breakthrough technology. With SmartClip™ Self-Ligating Braces Dr. Silverman is on the leading edge of 3M technology. The self-ligating technology removes the need for ligatures, the elastic bands that were used to hold the wire in your braces. Without ligatures to stain or hold food particles, these braces are easier to keep clean. And, when the time comes to take off your braces, all that will remain is your dazzling new smile.
