Orthodontic Specialists of Albuquerque/Santa Fe uses state-of-the-art technology for orthodontic care including digital x-rays, the OrthoCAD iQ system, 3M Unitek's SmartClip™ self-ligating braces, digitized dental impressions (E-models), and space age wires designed by NASA made of Nickel Titanium. This alloy is used in orthodontics to straighten teeth more efficiently and comfortably.
Orthodontic treatment offers the opportunity to achieve your best smile while improving your orthodontic health. Improving appearance, promoting good oral health by straightening crowded easy-to-decay teeth, and correcting overbites that may cause gum disease is our aim.
As a patient, you will check-in on our computer by merely typing in your date of birth. Once you have done this, our patient managers are notified of your arrival! They access your personal data and document your treatment plan on any one of our 18 flat screen computer monitors.
By the way, our office is completely paper-less!
We have three plasma T.V. screens strategically placed for your enjoyment. They feature music videos and the latest movies. Additionally, in the center of our patient orthodontic treatment area is an 800 gallon salt water aquarium with sharks, sting rays, hermit crabs, sea anemone, starfish, and snails. Dr. Silverman designed the facility to cater to our patients.
On the first visit, you will undergo a clinical exam and orthodontic x-rays then we will discuss your diagnosis and orthodontic treatment plan. Fee estimates and payment plans are also talked about at this time. No fee is charged for the initial examination. However, if you decide to begin orthodontic treatment the day of your initial examination (Quick Start Program) we offer a 50% savings on the cost of your orthodontic records and also collect your first month's payment. Additionally, there is no finance charge and no interest.
We require that you must have had or have a dental examination and cleaning scheduled within the last six months before beginning your orthodontic treatment.
